BHOPAL: Police in Gwalior registered cases of rape and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act against an unknown man after a complaint lodged by parents of a 3-year-old nursery student in the city.
“As soon as our daughter reached home around 2.30pm on Wednesday, she started complaining about pain in the lower part of body. After she continued to complain, we took her to the doctor and he told us that rape was attempted on the little girl,” her mother told police.
When the school administration denied the report, the Gwalior chapter of All India Parent’s association president Sudhir Sapra along with the girls parents sat on a dharna in the school.

“Earlier, neither the school administration nor the local thana were cooperating,” Sapra told TOI.
On Thursday morning, identification parade of the school staff took place. Later the police rounded up five people.
Gwalior SP Harinarayanchari Mishra told TOI, "Some one from school staff is involved, he will soon be arrested."
