After a sunny & warm Wednesday, we're back to clouds & scooler conditions today.
A cold front dropped through the the Capital Region last night & the city received 2-10mm of rain.
MOST of the showers today will be south and west of the area.  But, we may see one or 2 more brief showers push through before the day's done.

Not a lot of sun today.  Just a few sunny "breaks" this afternoon.  Temperatures will get to a high of about 20 (after hitting 23 Wednesday).
AND...it looks like wind will be a factor.  NW wind 20-30km/h developing by midday with some occasional gusts.

Skies will be clearer across much of northern Alberta.  Through the foothills & in the Red Deer region...it'll be a cloudy day with scattered showers.

Edmonton gets back to some sunshine & back into the low 20s Friday.  But...again it's short-lived.
An Upper Low drops into northern Alberta over the weekend & a surface low pressure system slides across the southern half of the province.
Heavy, steady rain is expected in NW Alberta on Saturday.  The Peace Country will likely get 20-50mm of rain.
Further south, Jasper & Edson areas will get some steady rain Saturday.
The rain moves east towards the Capital Region late Saturday.  Showers or periods of rain are expected in the area late Saturday into Sunday morning.
