Trying to clarify his earlier remarks on Bihar floods, Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav on Thursday said that Ganges water reaching to people’s doorstep is both good and bad. He also alleged that floods came as a result of Raghubar Das led Jharkhand government unnotified release of Ganges water. The RJD chief said that BJP people were earlier indulged in trading of Ganges water. “I didn’t speak earlier, but now I have to speak, these people (BJP) are trading Maa Ganga’s water. They released Ganga water without notifying us. Water reaching people’s door has both benefits and loss,” said Lalu while talking to reporters.
