Five Most Beautiful Cars Of All Time By Horacio Pagani — Beautiful Indeed!
Horacio Pagani is the founder and CEO of Pagani, the supercar manufacturers. Known for models like the Pagani Zonda and Pagani Huayra, Pagani is an auto enthusiast's thirst for sports and supercars.
At the age of 20, he built his first F3 racer, and then went to become the chief engineer at Lamborghini and built the Countach Evoluzione.
In an interview to Autoguide, he revealed his most beautiful cars of all time, here are the five cars.
Jaguar
E-Type
Mr.
Pagani's
interests
lie
in
the
Italian
cars;
however,
the
Jaguar
E-Type
is
one
of
the
few
non-Italian
cars
that
he
thought
it
was
the
most
beautiful.
The
Jaguar
E-Type
was
originally
introduced
back
in
1961.
The
E-Type
from
Jaguar
uses
a
front
engine,
rear
wheel
drive
layout
which
is
powered
by
a
3.8-litre
inline-six
which
produces
261bhp
of
power.
Along
with
the
power
of
the
Jaguar
E-Type,
it
was
a
looker
too.
Lamborghini
Miura
The
Lamborghini
Miura
has
a
place
in
the
history
of
automobiles
as
being
one
of
the
first
high-performance,
mid-engined
cars
ever.
It
was
even
known
to
be
the
first
supercars
to
be
built.
Lamborghini
Miura
is
powered
by
a
4.0-litre
V12
engine
mid-engined,
rear
wheel
drive
car.
Built
between
1966-73,
only
764
units
were
built.
No
wonder
it
is
part
of
Mr.
Pagani's
list
of
most
beautiful
cars
of
all
time.
Mercedes-Benz
300SL
Gullwing
Another
icon
making
to
the
list
is
the
300SL
from
Mercedes-Benz.
When
launched,
the
300SL
was
fastest
production
car
available
with
a
top
speed
of
258kmph.
The
3.0-litre
inline-six
engine
was
one
of
the
first
to
use
the
direct-injection
technology.
Its
unique
gullwing
doors
was
a
stand
out
from
other
cars
and
Mr.
Pagani
probably
took
inspiration
to
design
the
Huayra
as
it
has
the
doors
fold
upwards.
De
Tomaso
Pantera
The
De
Tomaso
Pantera
is
a
combination
of
American
V8
and
Italian
design
and
is
something
which
cannot
be
ignored.
Not
many
auto
enthusiasts
have
taken
a
liking
to
it
even
though
it
comes
with
a
combination
of
pedigrees.
Lamborghini
Countach
The
Lamborghini
Countach
arrived
at
the
automotive
world
in
the
mid-1970s
with
a
V12
engine,
just
like
the
Pagani.
With
a
six-second
sprint
to
100kmph
as
acceleration
which
in
the
current
scenario
will
make
some
of
them
laugh,
the
car
was
a
leap
ahead
in
the
1970s.
Mr. Pagani lists this as one among the most beautiful cars as you can see the design language in the Pagani Huayra.
