LUCKNOW: Amid loud protests by
BJP members who jumped into the well of the Uttar Pradesh assembly on Wednesday, thus derailing the question hour, chief minister
Akhilesh Yadav alleged that the Centre was not paying UP’s dues, forcing his government to bring supplementary budget worth over Rs 25,000 crore.
The supplementary budget was later passed by voice vote even as BJP members continued with their sloganeering against “poor law and order”, cane dues to farmers, and power crisis.
The
BSP leader of the Opposition too took on the government over sliding discipline.
Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey adjourned the House until 12.20pm resulting in the question hour being disallowed. Making mockery of
Mayawati's “annoyance” over his calling her ‘bua’ ,
Akhilesh said everyone calls the BSP chief ‘behenji’, what’s wrong if he calls her bua.
