Expo of silk saris

Banglaore-based designer boutique Swasstik is holding a two-day exhibition of silk saris and salwar-kameez materials titled ‘Nesavu’ at Sangam Hotel here.

It offers at least 25 varieties of handloom silk saris.

“The saris, many of which are embellished with embroidery and cutwork, cost in the range of Rs. 5,000 and upwards, while the cotton dress material sets are priced at Rs. 900,” said Rajesh Belagodu, proprietor and chief designer, Swasstik.

The exhibition is on from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Nanjai Hall, and is scheduled to end on Thursday.
