Ashghal President Nasser bin Ali al Mawlawi said infrastructure remains a high priority on the economic agenda of the state. It was a landmark year for the authority as it was the start for many of the large infrastructure projects that will contribute to achieving the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.
He said 2015 saw the inauguration of three main infrastructure projects F-Ring Road, East Industrial Road and Al Huwaila Road.
The authority also inaugurated the roads surrounding the new Qatar National Museum.
He said Ashghal is strictly implementing the best safety measures and have received a number of certificates in recognition for its safety management system.
In the education sector, the authority built 23 schools in 2014-15. It also signed a QR3 billion contract to build another 20 schools in the coming year.
