‘BJP-SS has failed on all fronts’

Amravati: MPCC president Ashok Chavan today lashed out at the BJP-Shiv Sena government in the state and alleged that it has failed on all fronts during its 20-month regime.
Addressing the media persons after holding deliberations with local party leaders and corporators about the forthcoming municipal corporation polls, Chavan charged that not only the law and order situation in the state has nosedived but also the farmers are in jeopardy.“As the state has no full time home minister, there is no control of the government on the machinery and no control of the police on criminals. Nagpur is worst on this front,” Chavan said, alleging that BJP was sheltering the criminal tendencies and trying to seek their help in the ensuing elections. Chavan doubted the role of BJP government in banning the organizations which were allegedly responsible for the killing of Dabholkar and Govind Pansare.
