Theatre Coup d'Etat presents Antigone, an original adaptation based off the play by Sophocles, running September 30 - October 17 at SpringHouse Ministry Center.

What are you willing to die for? This central question is the heart of Theatre Coup d'Etat's original adaptation of the classic Greek drama by Sophocles, Antigone. The ensemble-based piece explores themes of civil disobedience, fidelity, and family love through movement, live soundscaping, and active storytelling. In a time when natural law and contemporary legal institutions so often over run our personal fights for justice, this production of Antigone investigates the timeless debate of which law is greater: man's or the gods'? Which do you choose?

Award-winning Theatre Coup d'Etat maintains its tradition of a dynamic, actor-driven production. Combined with the intimacy of SpringHouse Ministry Center's South Sanctuary, Theatre Coup d'Etat's production of Antigone is another can't-miss experience.
