Kim Jong-kook drops China single
Singer Kim Jong-kook will officially kick off his entertainment activities in China, according to his talent agency Maroo Entertainment on Tuesday.
The label announced that Kim dropped his first Chinese digital single yesterday. It is a ballad from the perspective of a man who feels regretful about a past love.
“I decided to unveil the single because I’m more recognized as an entertainer in China,” said Kim. “As a musician, I wanted people to see me singing.”
Through SBS reality show “Running Man,” which began in 2010, Kim has gained huge popularity in China. In order to show that he is more than an entertainer, the singer is planning various [music] activities in China in addition to his latest song.
