Sapna Bhavnani, hairstylist and owner of the salon, Mad o Wot has spoken against Salman Khan in an interview. Bhavnani, who was also a contestant in the reality show, Bigg Boss had had several fights with host, Salman Khan. She had also reportedly called him a “woman beater” in a comment which the channel had chosen not to air.
Sapna Bhavnani, who’s written a memoir named Chapter One, said that she has not talked about Salman Khan in her memoir because she did not want to give him any importance. She also reportedly called him “a male chauvnistic pig who insults people” and said that people “worship him on the show because they want a job” in one of his movies where “he dances like a monkey”.
Sapna Bhavnani, 51 is a rape survivor and is best known for her outspokenness. Last year, in an interaction with Humans of Bombay, Sapna Bhavnani talked about being in an abusive marriage, about being gangraped and its aftermath. Her narration was a huge indictment of society.
Sapna Bhawnani also said that she was strongly against Salman Khan’s totally insensitive “raped woman” remark, which he made just ahead of the release of his latest movie ‘Sultan’. Bhavnani fearlessly voiced her opinions on Twitter even after she got trolled ostensibly by Salman Khan fans.
