Brahmins to take out rally on August 27

Representatives of different Brahmin associations, here on Monday asked the members of their community to take part in the “Shobha Yatra” to be taken out from Sundaraiah Park to Indira Park in Hyderabad on August 27. A pamphlet with details of the rally was released on the occasion. They said that the yatra would focus on their demands of formation of Brahmin Welfare Corporation and allocation of adequate funds for it. They also called upon their community to participate in the yatra by sending at least two members from each family.

Bar Association president Billa Rama Rao, former president Raj Kumar Subedar, Jugal Kishore Pande, Jyothi Rajesh, Jagadish Kulakarni and Hemasundaram were present.
