Bus overturns, 15 injured in Dhar

INDORE : At least 15 passengers were injured when a private bus overturned and skidded off the road near Kannod of Dewas district on Monday.
The incident was reported around 12:40 pm about four kilometres from Kannod police station on Monday. Police were alerted by the locals that a bus ferrying over 20 passengers had overturned after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Locals and police rushed to the spot and rescued the passengers. Though the accident was major, fortunately no one was killed in the incident, they claimed. Those seriously injured were rushed to nearby hospital in Kannod.
"None of the passengers is reported to be in critical condition. Most of the injured were discharged after first-aid," said Malviya at Kannod police station.
