Students of Pt JLN Government College on Monday disrupted traffic on the Jhajjar-Delhi road for an hour in protest against water shortage in the college
They said they had urged the college authority to redress the problem several times, but no action had yet been taken
The protesters cleared the road following college administration’s assurance to redress their problem soon.
Azad Kaur, college principal, said there was no problem of potable water in the college. “The students were instigated by some people to serve their personnel interest. I came to know about the problem of drinking water at the commerce block, but it was resolved immediately,” she said. Jhajjar, TNS
