Dhoom Singh Negi’s book released

DEHRADUN:Social activist Dhoom Singh Negi’s book “Mitee Paani Aur Bayar” was released in Dehradun.

Social activist Dhoom Singh Negi’s book “Mitee Paani Aur Bayar” was released in Dehradun.

Releasing the book, chief guest senior journalist Charu Chandra Chandola said writing a book was a big challenge nowadays as a number of readers had started dwindling in the present day scenario. He said  youngsters should inculcate the habit of reading books.

Folk singer Narendra Singh Negi said the book amply highlights the feeling of a state agitationist, who was disturbed seeing the sorry state of affairs in Uttarakhand. He said the true development was a development that reached to a person residing in remotest part of the state.

Author Dhoom Singh said the book had highlighted the issues that were affecting Uttarakhand the most. He said sincere efforts for betterment of Uttarakhand were still to come from political governance in the state. 

Sanjay Kothiyal, editor, Yugwani, coordinated the proceedings. Ramesh Jardhari and Rajeev Nayan Bahuguna were prominent present on the occasion.
