Prof nominated to executive council at GJUST

CHANDIGARH: Panjab University (PU) professor S K Tomar of department of Mathematics, Panjab University has been nominated to the executive council of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST), Hisar (Haryana).
Executive council is the highest decision making body of the university. His nomination was submitted by the governor of Haryana and chancellor of the university for a term of two years.
Professor Tomar has been chairperson of his department between 2012-2015 and is a renowned mathematician.He is recipient of prestigious P L Bhatnagar lecture award of Indian Mathematical Society. He has a teaching experience of more than 28 years and has published more than ninety research papers in the journal of international repute. He guided several PhD and post-doctoral students. He has also visited more than six countries to deliver lectures and present collaborative works.
