Charri Mubarak reaches its abode after Pujan, Visarjan at Pahalgam

Srinagar, Aug 20 (UNI) “Chhari Mubarak”, the holy Silver Mace of Lord Shiva reached to its abode Shri Amreshwar Temple Deshnami Akhara near here after last rituals of “Pujan and Visarjan,” followed by traditional “ Kari Pakouri” Bhandara were performed on the bank of Lidder river at Pahalgam, about 100 km from here in south Kashmir.
Now devotees can have the glimpse of holy Mace only next year as it will be kept inside in a room in the Deshnami Akhara, Mahant Deepdra Giri, custodian of the Chhari Mubarak told UNI.
He said the annual pilgrimage of Chhari-Mubarak, culminated today at Pahalgam with its last rituals ‘Pujan’ & ‘Visarjan’, which were performed at the bank of river Lidder.
