EBS, part of the giant Japanese NTT, has invested two million Euro in a new office in Cluj

Service and software solutions provider EBS Romania, part of the Japanese NTT (Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation) group, recruited from the beginning of the year more than 200 people, mainly for its centre in Cluj-Napoca, but also for its branches in Bucharest, Sibiu, Brasov, Iasi and Timisoara, according to Ziarul Financiar. The company inaugurated the new headquarters of EBS Tower in Cluj-Napoca, a 12-storey building, where 520 people are currently working. EBS Building Tower was developed by the company Imoinvest, member of the financial group Imofinance, headed by entrepreneur Iosif Pop. "The EBS Tower project was started about two years ago, investment in the space setting amounting to almost two million Euro," said Daniel Metz, CEO of EBS Romania, quoted by the newswire. "EBS Tower hosts 520 people in over 7,000 sqm, but we still have an additional 60 jobs available in Cluj." The company pays a rent of 12-13 Euro/sqm for the rented space in EBS Tower. Ziarul Financiar notes that EBS Tower includes classrooms, halls for conferences and videoconferences, interviews, a library, a floor being dedicated strictly to a relaxing area. In the coming weeks, the building will have a bistro, a dining room, a terrace and a restaurant.
