Nagpur: A gang of six dacoits adopted an intriguing ploy to enter the residence of Bharat and Sunanda Parate at HB Nagar near Chikhli Overbridge on Friday afternoon. They escaped with valuables, including Rs40,000 cash, worth Rs1.55 lakh at knifepoint. The gang posed as relatives of a gang rape survivor, claiming she was in hospital after being exploited by Bharat and Sunanda’s 21-year-old son Akash and his friends.
Sunanda was at home with a domestic help and a neighbour when the dacoits gained entry by saying they had come to complain about Akash, who works as a teacher at Sangeeta High School at Vinobha Bhave Nagar, a school managed by the Parates. After gaining entry, the dacoits brandished a knife to threaten the women. The three women were watched by two dacoits while the rest robbed the place.
Youth ends life over financial woes Ankush Dhok (22) hanged himself to death at his residence at

Family members claimed that Rajesh, a civil contractor, was suffering from chronic mental illness for which he was undergoing treatment. He was also facing financial problems, they told cops.
