27-yr-old truck driver injured in road mishap

THANE: A 27-year-old truck driver was severely injured after his vehicle rammed into a container truck near Kharegaon toll post on Thursday. After an almost 30 minutes struggle, the officials from the disaster management team managed to rescue him. The truck driver, Mohammad Sayyed, was stuck in the dashboard after the accident. Sayyed was rushed to Thane Civil hospital where the doctors said that his right leg was fractured.
The Kalwa police station have registered a case against Sayyed for rash and negligent driving. tnn
