Governor express satisfaction over incident-free Amarnath yatra

Srinagar, Aug 18 (UNI) Expressing satisfaction over incident-free annual 48-day-long Amarnath yatra in south Kashmir Himalayas, Governor N N Vohra, chairman of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) directed official to launch a full scale post yatra sanitation drive.
The yatra ended today on Sharvan Purnima, Raksha Bandan when final puja was organized at the cave shrine after Chhari-Mubarak, holy Silver Mace of Lord Shiva was taken inside.
The Governor expressed satisfaction over the incident-free conduct of this year’s Yatra barring a road accident which took place at Halmulla, Bijbehara, Anantnag District, and another near the Access Control Gate, Chandanwari.
