Live telecast of Assembly proceedings alone will put an end to the acrimonious scenes taking place inside the House, Dharmapuri MP and Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) youth wing leader Anbumani Ramadoss has said.
Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, Dr. Anbumani said the Assembly was not functioning in democratic manner as both the ruling AIADMK and the Opposition DMK were not following the established norms and traditions of the House during debates. The DMK, instead of ensuring healthy debates by attending the sessions with better homework, was inciting the ruling party members. “Live telecast of Assembly proceedings alone will end all these bitter scenes as people will come to know of the pathetic functioning of their representatives inside the House,” he said.
