Woman hires goons to abduct husband; 3 arrested

The Kalamassery police on Wednesday arrested three local goons who were involved in the abduction of a Mundakkayam native. The police said that the three accused had abducted Mundakkayam native Maneesh on the direction of his wife, a native of Pala.

KOCHI: The Kalamassery police on Wednesday arrested three local goons who were involved in the abduction of a Mundakkayam native. The police said that the three accused had abducted Mundakkayam native Maneesh on the direction of his wife, a native of Pala.
Jaison Joy of Cheranalloor, Charles Antony of Paravoor and Jose Chacko of Changanassery were arrested by the police on a complaint filed by Maneesh’s family.

“The woman had been living in Bengaluru in the pretext of studies after register marriage with Maneesh. The woman allegedly had illicit relationship with several men in Bengaluru which Maneesh brought to the knowledge of her mother. In retaliation, the woman employed the three goons to abduct Maneesh and assault him”, said the police.
According to police, the three accused have previously involved in criminal cases registered in various stations across Kerala.
The accused persons were produced before magistrate on Wednesday evening.
