Dawood Ibrahim's nephew gets married in Mumbai, police keep watch

Dawood Ibrahim's nephew, Alishah Parkar, got married at a mosque in Mumbai today afternoon.

Surprisingly, Dawood's youngest brother Iqbal Kaskar who is based in Mumbai didn't attend the nikah.

Officials from JJ Marg police station, under whose jurisdiction the Rasool mosque comes, took rounds of Telli Mohalla to keep a tab on who all were present at the wedding.

Officers from Mumbai Crime Branch were dressed in civil clothes to keep a check.

Alishah was brought at the mosque in presence of his security guards after which the nikah ritual commenced. The nikah took place in presence of Ayesha Nagani's father. Jewellery weighing 7.5 grams were given as mehr.

A wedding reception is scheduled at the Tulip Star, Juhu today evening. It is believed that Dawood has asked to see the preparations of the reception via Skype.

"There is a high possibility that Dawood would want to watch the event virtually. The agencies will not even be able to locate the call, given the proxy servers used these days to hide the location. Mumbai Police's role will be of an observer to keep an eye and collect any kind of intelligence information about Dawood or his aides."
