ECR celebrates the day with gaiety

East Central Railway (ECR) GM D K Gayen on Monday hoisted the tricolour at Hajipur in the presence of a number of railway officials, employees and members of the women welfare organization. The highlight of the function was an impressive parade by RPF personnel.
Gayen lauded the efforts of the ECR in registering a record earning in both passenger and goods segments."In the last 14 years, the ECR has achieved several milestones. It joined the league of those zones that had earned up to Rs 10,000 crore per annum," he said.
Besides, DRM R K Jha hoisted the tricolour at his office in Danapur. Women welfare organization members distributed fruits and sweets among the patients at the Danapur divisional railway hospital. tnn
