The makers of "2.0" aka "Enthiran 2" seem to have clear plans on releasing the film's first look, teaser and trailer. They have reportedly locked in the dates for unveiling all the promotional material.
The latest buzz about "2.0" is that the first look of the film will be out next month while the teaser will be unveiled on Diwali in October. The makers have decided to launch the trailer of "2.0" on Dec. 12 to coincide with the celebration of Rajinikanth's birthday. But the exact date of the release of the first look is not revealed yet.
Teasers, trailers and the first look play important roles in building up good hype around the film. Hence, filmmakers take special interest in planning and releasing them at the most appropriate times, in order to gain maximum mileage.
The unit of "2.0" is gearing up to start its next schedule of shooting this week. Filming will commence at a specially erected set on the outskirts of Chennai. Rajinikanth, who had taken a long break from shooting, will join the crew next week.
Meanwhile, director Shankar is celebrating his 53rd birthday on Wednesday, Aug. 17. As always, he is maintaining a low profile on his special day.
Coming back to his film, the major part of the shooting of "2.0" has been completed and it will be wrapped up in the next few months. It will be followed by lengthy post-production works, which will reportedly be carried out simultaneously in India and the United States.
"2.0" features Akshay Kumar in the role of Dr. Richard, a wicked scientist. Amy Jackson plays the female lead role in the movie, which is being simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. It will hit the screens next summer.
