Four held for Park Street murder

Kolkata: Park Street police have arrested four for the murder of a 22-year-old woman, whose body was recovered from Alimuddin-Ripon Street crossing. The murder could be detected due to a quilt used by a hotel manager, one of the accused in the case. The victim Soma Das (22), from Mograhat was separated from her husband and had recently entered prostitution.She was staying with a woman who had adopted her at the Imam Baux Lane at Rathtala.
"The hotel manager, Soumen Mitra was nabbed after we started re-examining the hotel employees when we got to know that she frequently visited Central Kolkata hotels," said an officer. Three others, Katbanu Bibi (40), Raju Painter, and Syed Rizwan Ali were also nabbed. TNN
