Desi viewers clued into the ongoing Rio Olympics on August 15 were in for a surprise when synchronised swimmers, Karem Achach and Nuria Diosdado , arrived for their routine.
Dressed in sequined swimsuits, the 25-year-old Mexicans bust out stunning upside-down splits, ballet, underwater swirls in their 2.20-minute routine (top left).
The song they’d chosen wasAila Re Aila , which featured in Priyadarshan ’s Akshay Kumar and Trisha Krishnan-starrer 2010 dramedy, Khatta Meetha , and was sung by Daler Mehndi .
