Medeama goalkeeper Daniel Agyei insists he is not in direct competition with Muntari Tagoe for the number position.
Agyei appears to have dislodged the club's captain after becoming a constant feature since joining as a free agent at the start of the second round.
The former Liberty Professionals glovesman has impressed, leaving the future of Tagoe in serious doubt.
But the ex-Ghana Under-20 star insists he's not competing with the team's skipper for the number one spot.
'Muntari has been in the team for long and he is an experience goalkeeper, I just came to the team,' he told Happy FM.
'I am not here to compete for the number spot, I am here to do my best for the Club. If the Coach tells me to be in post I will do my best for the team.
'Muntari is my friend and we do everything together. We train together, we eat together, so I am not competing with him. We are all trying to do our best for the team so the team will go far.'
