Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Aug 16 2016 6:42PM Ramadass suggests restructuring of SCSPPuducherry, Aug 16 (UNI) Former Lok Sabha member from Puducherry M Ramadass today suggested a complete restructuring of the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) and productive spending of funds on innovative and utilitarian lines.Explaining in detail, in a statement here, Prof Ramadass said the SCSP, an integral component of Puducherry’s five year plan, aimed at the socio-economic empowerment of the S C Community continued to be hampered by a host of implementation deficiencies.He said since, in the existing administrative framework, the nodal Department, namely, adi Dravidar Welfare Department is not fully equipped for the implementation of the scheme in full, a separate Department, entitled “Department of Implementation of Scheduled Caste Sub Plan”(DISCSP) with officers of expertise may be created to discharge all responsibilities related to SCSP.
