(IraqiNews.com) Muthanna – With an aim to secure the southern borders of Muthanna and prevent terrorists from sneaking in, the Muthana Police Command have begun deploying patrols in coordination with the Border Guards.

Muthanna Police Chief, Colonel Sami Saoud, in a statement issued to the media, said, “11th Brigade of the Border Guards Command, in association with Muthana Police Command, have begun deploying joint patrols in the ambush-hit areas of the province.”

Adding further Saoud added, “Limiting the entry of the terrorists through the borders of the southern areas will to put an end to their presence.”

Sharing further, commander of the 11th Brigade of Border Guards Command Brigadier General Mohamed Radi said, “The brigade is working with the province police in the deployment of joint patrols and launch surprise attacks on terrorists along the Salman-Samawa road.”
