Independence Day stunt: Neta rappels down building

BJP MLA Narendra Pawar from Kalyan made a date with gravity this Independence Day by rappelling down 19 floors of a building with “Indian Spiderman” Gaurav Sharma, a former martial arts trainer for Mumbai police. Thousands turned up on Monday to watch the neta’s stunt, which he said was aimed at mimicking the bravery of Indian soliders.
Pawar told TOI: “Since our soldiers put their lives in danger, I wanted to do something daring in their honour.” ‘Spiderman Sharma’ said he was happy to join in.
Meanwhile, Kargil hero Rajendra Hadale hoisted the flag in Ulhasnagar.
