The 101st edition of the Olympic Games few interesting scenarios, and one of them was during the synchronised swimming event, when a Mexican pair of Karem Achach and Nuria Diosdado performed to an Indian beat, on day 10- of the ongoing Rio Olympics 2016, at the Maria Lenk Aquatics Centre in Rio de Janerio ion Monday. The pair performed an Independence Day special, as they performed to the Indian  beat of ‘Aila re Aila’ from the film ‘Khatta Meetha’, that starred famous Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. the pair are currently in the ninth spot, having qualified for the final of the event, thus making the Indian Bollywood industry proud. Earlier in Indian action, in Men’s Triple Jump Qualifying Round, Renjith came up with a tight and hard-fought performance, as he aimed for the top two spot, but failed to earn it. His opening attempt resulted in 15.80 points, followed by a better of 16.13 points in the second attempt, while the third attempt resulted in 15.99 points, as he finished at the 15th spot, that was definitely not enough to qualify for the final round. In the Women’s 3000m Steeplechase Final, it was a tough competition for the Indian runner Lalita was off to a steady start, but the pace of the other athletes was fast enough, as she couldn’t cope up with their pace, and eventually finished behind in the 10th spot. The Day 10 is all set to witness action in badminton (2.00 am), where PV Sindhu is in action in Women’s singles, while in boxing (3.30 am).
