'Chhari Mubarak' leaves Phalgam for holy cave

Srinagar, Aug 15 (UNI) 'Chhari Mubarak', holy silver Mace of Lord Shiva left Phalgam base camp for holy Amarnath Cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas this afternoon.
A large number of devotees led by Mahant Deependra Giri, chanting “Har Har Mahadev and Bam Bam Bholay Nath” left pahalgam at 1400 hours.
Mahant Giri, custodian of Charri Mubarak said the holy mace will have night halt at Chandanwari, motorable halting station on traditional yatra route to holy Amarnath cave shrine.
