Spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama who is on a 2-day visit to Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, today met Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in Leh. The actor was shooting for his upcoming film Tubelight.
DALAI LAMA ADDRESSES PEOPLE IN MOSQUE
While addressing a gathering from a local mosque in Leh, the Dalai Lama said that violence cannot be reduced by force, money or manipulative actions but can be reduced through compassion and love.
"ALL RELIGIONS SPREAD MESSAGE OF LOVE"
"Every religion spreads the message of love and we must try to practice love and compassion in our daily life," said the Dalai Lama. He further said that the basic human nature is compassion and one must focus on making maximum use of intelligence and knowledge.
"It is my commitment to promote compassion through education based on secular principals," he said.
