Happy Independence Day 2016: Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai's Angoori Bhabhi and Anita Bhabhi talk about freedom

Happy Independence Day to all! On the occasion of India’s 70th Independence Day, we share quotes from two of the most popular television actresses currently in India – Shubhangi Atre and Saumya Tandon. The two girls both play bhabhis on &TV’s superhit show Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai as Angoori Bhabhi and Anita Bhabhi. While Angoori is far more popular than Anita, both sisters-in-law add a touch of their own glamour to Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai every evening on the tube. But the pretty ladies are beauties with brains and a wonderful heart. Here’s what Angoori Bhabhi and Anita Bhabhi have to say on Independence Day 2016.

Shubhangi Atre aka Angoori Bhabhi from Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai:

“I feel elated that am an Indian because we have so much freedom in our country at present. Also I believe that men and women should get equal rights. There has to be some changes in society, need to think about women rights, also need to support for girl child. Education plays a very vital role, we should make sure each and every girl should get basic education and bright career. Laws for women safety and education have to be improved and strictly followed. Jai Hind!” ALSO READ: Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai: Superb! Shilpa Shinde to return as Angoori Bhabhi?
