Modi kept his stand on providing cleaner and renewable energy to the nation. Modi said that unlike most governments who scrap down the policies of the previous government, the BJP government at the centre has worked with on good policies of the UPA government and implemented them.Modi informed the nation that 4 crore people have got a gas connection in the last 60 weeks, in comparison to the last 60 years where only 14 crore people have availed the facility.
