The Revit and BIM training conference returns to the region with new session topics and 90-minute format

Newport Beach, California (PRWEB) August 15, 2016

Registration is now open for the 2016 Phoenix BIM Workshops, a one-day BIM professional training conference which will take place on October 27, 2016.

Hosted by U.S. CAD, a BIM consultant and Autodesk Platinum Partner, the BIM Workshops offers building and design professionals access to presentations from top industry experts and speakers such as Steven Shell, Paul Aubin, and more. Lynn Allen, Autodesk Technical Evangelist and crowd favorite, is also returning to her role as event emcee with a special kick-off session.

Several key improvements have been made to this year's event. First, sessions have been extended from 80 to 90 minutes. Second, by popular demand, more lab sessions have been added to the schedule, with two labs occurring during every timeslot. Lastly, a significant reduction in event cost is now reflected in the new low $99 Early Bird rate.

"We are very excited to bring the BIM Workshops back to Phoenix, Arizona," states Daniel J. Counts, CEO of U.S. CAD. "Training and networking opportunities are critical for BIM professionals, and the BIM Workshops offers both in a one-day package that is cost-effective for teams of all sizes. Last year's response was phenomenal for it being our first year, and we look forward to hosting yet another successful event that connects local software users with industry and technical experts."

Presentations at the event include topics such as:

  • Workflows between Dynamo and Revit
  • Creating families and components in Revit
  • Setting up Revit project files for collaborative use

The 2016 Phoenix BIM Workshops will be held at the Phoenix Airport Marriott on October 27, 2016. From now until September 9th, attendees can save $100 on registration with a special Early Bird discount; rates increase on September 10th.

Additional savings are offered to teams of 5 or more. Please visit http://bim-workshops.com/events/phoenix-2016/ for more details.

About the BIM Workshops
The BIM Workshops events started with the Central States Revit Workshop in 2012. The continued success of the Central States Revit Workshop along with the technical community's positive feedback prompted a multi-event expansion and a re-branding to the name BIM Workshops. The Workshops, hosted by U.S. CAD since 2014, were created originally to connect local users with national, regional, and local industry speakers and leaders. For many users, the Workshops continue to be the most cost-effective opportunity to get training in Autodesk software and to learn from and network with their industry leaders and peers.
