It was snapped by Cameron Spencer of Getty Images on Sunday night during Usain Bolt’s Olympic semifinal run in the 100-meter dash, a race he won in 9.89 seconds. He ran that time, 9.89 seconds, in a race when he appeared to be slow coming off the block and then took the last 15 meters of the race to check out his opponents, smile, and pull up at the finish line.
He did that and ran a 9.89. He has a final to run later, after all, so why would he really try? This man in beyond anything we’ve ever seen before.
