Govt vows to materialise Jinnah’s dreams

FAISALABAD- Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the government was endeavoring to materialise the dream of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for the development and progress of Pakistan.
Distributing fruits and biscuits to the patients in Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology and Allied Hospital, he said that a number of mega projects were being completed for the welfare of the nation including strengthening of the health sector to build the healthy nation. The law minister took the round of the 48-bed newly construction extension block of emergency block of FIC which had been constructed with a donation of local industrialists. He expressed his pleasure over the expansion and lauded the generosity of philanthropists. He greeted the patients on Independence Day and prayed for their early recovery.
He said that the Independence Day was the day to review our commitment to serve the country with more zeal and passion.
He said that the Pakistan came into existence after a lot of sacrifices under the flag of Muslim League and now the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz was struggling to steer Pakistan out of the crises. He said the issues of terrorisms, loadshedding and unemployment were being overcome by following the revolutionary policies.
He expressed his grief and sorrow over the Quetta tragedy, and said the nation was celebrating Independence Day with simplicity. He said that the govt had taken strict security measures due to the threats on Independence Day.
He said that we should gear up our efforts for the rapid development of the country and the present govt. was following the agenda of development without caring of any obstacles created by the opponents.
He said that the next general elections in 2018 would be contested on the basis of performance to serve the nation and the people of Pakistan would elect their representatives who rendered excellent services for the welfare and development of the country. He said that the people would reject the politics of vulgarity, intolerance, chaos and disorder.
Toa question, he said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had given clear statement on Kashmir issue and the govt would continue its moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri brethren for resolving the issue according to the resolution of United Nations.
Earlier, the Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan participated in a briefing session at FIC and appreciated the initiatives of Executive Director FIC Dr Anjum Jalal for the extension and development of the institution.
He assured his all-out cooperation for further up gradation of FIC and lauded the contribution of local philanthropists for the development of the FIC and welfare of the patients. The law minister also visited Allied Hospital and took the round the medical, surgical, gynaecology, eye, orthopaedic, paediatrics, urology and other wards.
He also prayed for their early recovery, and said that Punjab govt was taking measures for the improvement and up-gradation of govt hospitals. Haji Ilyas Ansari, DCO Salman Ghani, FIC Executive Director Jalal, PMC Principal Alfareed Zafar, FIC MS Rai Zulfiqar, Allied Hospital MS Rashid Maqbool and others officers and doctors were also present. He was briefed by the principal of PMC and MS of Allied Hospital about the performance of the Allied hospital. He participated in a cake-cutting ceremony at Urology Ward.
