Broderick squeezes into next qualifier

Ireland's Greg Broderick only just made the cut into Tuesday's second individual qualifier in Rio when collecting eight faults with Going Global in yesterday's opening jumping competition.
From a starting field of 75 horse-and-rider combinations there were 24 clear rounds, but it was a tough day at the office with multiple eliminations and several falls, while two riders were also disqualified.
