Barbra Streisand and Jamie Foxx have a project in the works.

The actress and songstress have teamed up with Foxx for a duet version of "Climb Ev'ry Mountain." The ballad from The Sound Of Music will be featured on Streisand's upcoming record.

Titled Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, the album is set to debut on August 26. Other artists and actors perfoming Broadway hits alongside Streisand include Alec Baldwin, Anne Hathaway and Daisy Ridley.

Streisand told Entertainment Weekly her desire to sing with Foxx came from his having "a fantastic voice. And soulful, very very soulful sound." She says she chose the song for its message and the "faith built into it. It's about taking chances, risks and striving to be better."
