The Haryana Urban Development Authority has fixed reserve prices for Group Housing Schemes (GHS) in various urban estates of the state for the year 2016-17.

Gurgaon and Faridabad carry the highest price tag. These are closely followed by Kaithal, Rewari and Rohtak.

A senior HUDA official said, “These rates are applicable for allotment to government departments, boards and corporations. In case of private organisations and group housing societies, the plots will be sold through e-auction only.”

The reserve price for GHS in Urban Estate at Gurgaon remains the highest. A dwelling unit up to 75 sq meters carries reserve price of Rs 10,500 per sq meter; units between 76 to 200 sq meters would cost Rs17,500 per sq meter; and those between 201 to 350 sq meters would cost Rs20,500 per sq meter.

In Faridabad the rates would be Rs8,000; Rs16,500 and Rs20,500 per sq meter, respectively. In Panchkula, a dwelling unit up to 75 sq meters would cost Rs9,500 per sq meter; Rs12,000 per sq meter for unit size between 76 to 200 sq meters and Rs14,000 per sq meter for units between 201 to 350 sq meters.

Reserve prices in Rewari have been fixed at Rs4,500 per sq meter for up to 75 sq meters, Rs15,000 sq meter for dwelling units between 76 to 200 sq meters and Rs18,500 per sq meter for 201 to 350 square meters.

For Rohtak, the rates are Rs4,000, Rs15,500 and Rs18,500 per sq meter, respectively.

Sirsa, Fatehabad and Gohana are among the towns with least reserve price. Per sq meter price has been fixed at Rs4,000, Rs4,500 and Rs5,500, respectively, in Sirsa.

In Fatehabad, the reserved price has been fixed at Rs3,500, Rs4,500 and Rs5,500 per sq meter, respectively.

Sources said higher prices would be applicable in case the rates of sectors floated recently in these towns were higher than the reserve prices fixed now. “There will be no relation between rates of sectors recently floated and dwelling units less than 75 sq m meant for EWS category, a source added.
