When BollywoodLife asked Allu Arjun about his plans to make his Bollywood debut, he replied that though there are nothing on hand now, he would definitely like to do one if he gets the right platform with a good director and script.

The film that came early this year was one of the biggest hits in Telugu cinema of 2016. The film was directed by Boyapati Srinu and produced by Allu Aravind. Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa play the female leads in the film. For quite some time, we have been hearing that the popular Southern star was supposed to make his Bollywood debut soon. However, all of them have turned out to be rumours. His cousin, Ram Charan, had already his Bollywood debut in the forgettable Zanjeer remake, that also starred Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt. His uncle and Ram Charan's father, megastar Chiranjeevi, had a couple of memorable outings in Bollywood like Aaj Ka Gundaraj and The Gentleman.
