Former model Nia Guzman requested to have Chris Brown's visits with Royalty monitored and wanted to deny her mother-in-law the right to see the two-year-old, as well as having him submit a drug test. But despite her attempts, a judge denied all of the 33-year-old's requests.

Instead, the judge kept joint custody for the former couple – with Brown continuing to have his daughter for 12 days a month. The judge also ordered Guzman to repay Brown the $20,000 (£15,482) he ordered the Beautiful People hitmaker to give to Guzman, so she could afford a lawyer.

Guzman, who has a 15-year-old daughter from her previous marriage, was also looking for an increase to her child support from $2,500 a month to $15,000 a month.

Although there was supposed to be a separate hearing on child support, Nia has now "dismissed her support petition", according to TMZ.

She had filed papers in April – claiming the US superstar was unfit to care for Royalty without supervision.

Meanwhile, Brown blasted Guzman for posting a photo on Instagram of their daughter that he did not approve of. In the photo, Royalty is dressed In a black tutu and leg warmers. Furious Brown said: "It's crazy to me that a parent would be OK dressing our daughter like she 16. I ain't cool with that. She is 2!!!"

The former model replied: "If anybody thinks something is wrong with a baby… mad at the world in dance class…in her TUTU… U need to go pray! #Namaste."

The Look At Me Now star hit back: "Dance class is fine even with the leotard. the pics just looks risky in my opinion, this isn't a debate. She is 2. I ain't talking about it on social media any longer. I said my opinion."

The image and messages have since been deleted.
