Paul Pandi (65) of Sasthankovil Street in Thamathukonam area was fatally knocked down while he was crossing a road along with his 10-year-old son Vishnu Dharshan to board a bus in Parvathipuram on Saturday morning.
An omni bus proceeding to Marthandam from Chennai fatally knocked him down and his son sustained injuries.
The injured boy was admitted at the Kanniyakumari Government Medical College Hospital (KGMCH). Traffic Wing of the Nagercoil town police has arrested the bus driver Ilancheran of Coimbatore.
