Two held for throwing acid on minor girl : Fazilka police have arrested two youths, including a juvenile, for throwing acid on a minor girl in Jalalabad town on Friday. The accused have been identified as Harpreet Singh alias Vicky, 25, and his minor accomplice, both residents of Jalalabad.
Jalalabad DSP Harjinder Singh Gill said two motorcycle- borne youths, who threw acid on a girl while she was returning home after attending her computer class near Gagneja street on Friday evening, had been arrested within hours of the incident.
Hapreet was produced in the local court that sent him in police remand for two days while the minor boy was produced in a Fazilka court from where he was sent the juvenile home in Faridkot. tnn
