Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan was the cynosure of all eyes at the Golapudi awards at Music Academy in Chennai

This annual award ceremony was held in the city with great fanfare on Friday evening. It was a star-studded affair with many veterans from film industries across the country attending it. The guest list included the likes of Bollywood actor Boman Irani, Kollywood veteran Charuhasan, directors Mani Ratnam and Priyadarshan, to name a few. Unsurprisingly, Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan, who won the best debut director award at the function, was the cynosure of all eyes.Another highlight of the evening was certainly the play that had a star cast including Y Gee Mahendra, Madhuvanthi Arun, Prasanna and VJ Ramya, among others.
