Police arrests IS suspect in Kerala

Kannur, Aug 13 (UNI) Police today arrested a youth, who have suspected links with Islamic States (IS) and also accused in a case charged by Mumbai police.
According to police sources, they arrested Muhammed Haneef (26) of Kambalakkad in Wayanad district. He was taken into custody from a mosque (Salafi Masjid ) at Pullukara in Peringathur near Panoor in Kannur district, following the information from Mumbai police, last night.
However, police said they have not got any information while questioning him about the links with IS.
