Though it's typically Islam that gets criticized for being too extreme, Judaism is, in many ways, no less severe, especially when it comes to the "modesty" of women.
The latest example of this comes in the form of a photo of Hillary Clinton that was published recently in a Hasidic newspaper in New York.
The newspaper, Yated Ne'eman, opted to print a photo showing only the top of Clinton's head and her arm, not her face:

Some sects of ultra-Orthodox Jews believe that it's "immodest" to publish images of women. When it comes to covering Hillary Clinton such newspapers will publish a photo of her house or her husband, Bill Clinton, or sometimes a cartoon depiction of her. But never a photo.
In this respect, Yated Ne'eman is somewhat avant garde: the photo of Clinton above is reportedly the first time the paper has ever published a photo of a woman's hand.
